An Apology

In the latest Progress Report, an "internal" list of invited guests was accidentally substituted for the "confirmed" guest list, and printed under the title of "Guest List".

The error occurred after the final draft had been reviewed and approved for publication, and was not discovered until over 1,800 copies of the Progress Report were already in the mail.

On behalf of all of BayCon’s Staff, I extend our most sincere apologies to those who were listed as guests who may not yet have responded to our invitation, or who may have already declined. I deeply regret any inconvenience or embarrassment that this error may have caused you.

Likewise, I apologize to our members, and prospective members, for inadvertently misleading you about which guests will be attending BayCon ‘98.

This mistake was unfortunate, and as the Chairman of BayCon 1998, I assume full responsibility for it. Again, my sincerest apologies to all.
