Casino Night Friday night is going to be a busy night because not only are we planning a Meet the Guests Recepton, but add to that a Casino; and not just an ordinary Casino but a 1920's speakeasy. The speakeasy comes complete with action, adventure and fun for all. One side of the room will host our Casino, the other side will host our swing dance. Proceeds from the Casino will go to this year's charity, Friends of the California Air & Space Center.All are welcome to come out and try their hand at beating Lady Luck and help out our charity at the same time. Since this is a Charity Casino; no real money will pass between players and dealers; Con attendees of all ages are welcome with adult supervision. At the Casino you can find Blackjack tables, a Roulette Wheel, and a Craps table. There is a minimum bid of $1 at all tables. Here's the way it works. For a $5 buy-in you will get $50 dollars worth of chips and one raffle ticket. For those that might want more chips, $20 will get you $250 dollars worth of chips and five raffle tickets. If you run out at any time, just come back to the "cage" to purchase additional chips. We will have an assortment of prizes available for you to try your hand at. For every $50 you turn in the cage at the end of the night you will receive one raffle ticket. Simply fill out the raffle tickets and pick the prize you want to go for. You need not be present to win, if you filled out your raffle ticket correctly. Baycon members with badges will receive $5 worth of chips for just coming in the door. You will need to go to the "cage" to collect your free chips and any others you may wish to purchase. That is right, a special offer only available for badged members.
