The gods have spoken and they say that you must come join us Friday
night at our Meet the Guests Reception. We will be inaugurating our
theme, "BayCon's Odd-I-See: Thinking Outside the Monolith" with a party
dedicated to Homer's classic "The Odyssey." Ulysses will be in
attendance as well as a few siryns and of course the Cyclops. So come
and join us as a Greek or Roman hero, god, personage, or citizen, or
your favorite mythological creature or personality and have fun on
Friday night.

CASINO NIGHT |

|
We have so many things happening on Friday night. Come join us at 9pm
for Baycon's Charity Casino Night. All are welcome to come out and try
their hand at beating Lady Luck and help out our Charity at the same
time. Since this is a Charity Casino, no real money will pass between
players and dealers, and Con attendees of all ages are welcome with adult
supervision. At the Casino you can find Blackjack tables, a Roulette
Wheel, and a Craps table. Prizes will be available. There is a minimum
bid of $1 at all tables.
Here is how it works. For a $5 buy-in you will get $25 dollars worth of
chips and one raffle ticket. For those that might want more chips, $20
will get you $150 dollars worth of chips and five raffle tickets. If you
run out at any time, just come back to the cage to purchase additional
chips. We will have an assortment of prizes available for you to try
your hand at. For every $25 you turn into the cage at the end of the
night, you will receive one raffle ticket. Simply fill out the raffle
tickets and pick the prize you want to go for. You need not be present
to win if you filled out your raffle ticket correctly.
Baycon members will receive $5 worth of chips for just coming in the
door. You will need to go to the cage’ to collect your free chips and
any others you may wish to purchase.
All proceeds of this event will be added to the Charity Auction's proceeds
for Baycon 2001's Charity, the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
This is a great way to have fun and support our charity as well. Hope to
