These are just a sampling of the events that will be going on in the Gaming room, Come by and check our whiteboard for additional events.

Friday 6:00pm — Munchkin (with Expansions 1-3)

Friday 8:00pm — Cribbage Tournament

Cribbage is a game whose origins stretch back to Charles the First's England, and to this day is the only card game that is legal to play for money in English pubs. Simple math, cunning strategy, and a measure of luck will be needed if you want to come out on top in this traditional card game.

Friday 8:00pm — Ruse & Bruise

Ruse & Bruise is a fast-paced card game in the tradition of Citadels. Magicians and dragons, kings and princesses populate the land and want only one thing: the greatest fame. The players try to use their royal household to cause problems for their opponents and trick them with underhanded chess moves. In the process, turbulent developments and surprises are guaranteed.

Saturday 12:01am — Late Night Talisman game

Old school gamers will remember this one: Back in the day, a little company from England called "Games Workshop" actually produced games that didn't involve hundreds of dollars of miniatures per player to play. Games like Chaos Marauders, Space Crusade, and the crown jewel of their line—Talisman! Come and take a trip down memory lane and play a little Talisman, The Magical Quest Game, with us. All of the expansions (except Talisman Dragons) will be in play.

Saturday Noon — Warhammer 40,000 Mega Battle.

2008 heralds the return of head of gaming's yearly dose of utter insanity, The Warhammer 40,000 Mega Battle. 1500 point armies, Apocalypse rules will be in effect (And yes, loaner armies and legendary forces will be available).

Saturday Noon — Wild Wild West (Good, the Bad and the Munchkin with Munchkin Impossible)

Saturday 2:00pm — Rock Band

Gaming's illustrious second will be breaking out the game system, and controllers for this loud and rowdy cooperative event.

Saturday 2:00pm — Loony Labs Zendo Tournament

From the Mystic East come the Zen Masters of Loony Labs (would you believe Eastern Seaboard?). They have sent to us a man of great wisdom (o.k. he's the only one of them with a Kimono). He has traveled far from his homeland (in the East Bay... I told you they were from the east), to bring us a challenge! Find your way to true enlightenment through the arrangement of little plastic pyramids! So bring your Buddha Nature down to Gaming and see if you have what it takes to find Nirvana.

Saturday 8:00pm — Speed Carcassone

Sunday 2:00pm — Munchkin Cuthulu

Sunday 2:00pm — Loony Labs Fluxx Tournament

At the beginning of it, Fluxx appears to be a simple card game. You draw a card from the deck, and play a card from your hand. Simple enough, right? Well, that was the first player's turn, by the time it gets back around to them again the rules are almost guaranteed to have changed at least twice, if not more. Come and see if your goals can be achieved! Will the winner fly a rocket to the moon? Will they achieve Death by Chocolate? These questions and more will be answered, so be there!

Sunday 4:00pm — Legend of the Five Rings (RPG)

5 players maximum, pre-generated characters, Legend of the Five Rings: Third Edition rules. An Emerald Magistrate is assassinated on his way to deliver an important message from the Emperor himself, entrusting you to complete his mission. New and veteran players are welcome.
