Performing in the Cypress Room every night starting at 9:00 PM

The Music Department of BayCon 2008 is pleased to announce that, as part of our in-flight entertainment, we will be presenting a three-night musical exhibition. Our crack line-up of musical talent will be cutting loose with performances from an assortment of genres for your listening enjoyment and all passengers and crew are encouraged to attend. The musical entertainment portion of the cruise kicks off in the Cypress Room every night at 9:00 PM.

Filk Lounge

The BayCon filk lounge will be open every night once the concerts are over. We'll keep the music flowing until the last filker heads to bed or they kick us out to set up for programming the next morning. If you play an instrument, bring it! If you sing, join in! If you're not comfortable doing either, come in and enjoy performances of others. In keeping with our theme for BayCon 2008, there will be lots of piratical songs. You'll hear good songs about Space Pirates, bad songs about Space Pirates, parodies, songs about bad pace Pirates, parodies of parodies, authentic sea chantys written last Thursday, parodies of recursive parodies, and more musical hilarity than you can shake a cutlass at. So drop by for a single chorus or stay to sing the night away.
