Welcome to the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara! It is our pleasure to be the host hotel for BayCon 2009! We would like to share with you some hotel information to assist you during your stay.

Debit Cards: Room and tax charges for each
each night plus a $50.00 per night incidental deposit is authorized and
held on your account. A Majority of banks “Hold” twice the
amount. This occurs with some banks as an authorization is automatically
requested during check-in to verify funds, this amount is held until
check out. The hotel finalizes the charges at check out and charges the
debit card the total amount. Some banks do not use or recognized the
already pre-authorized amount. This causes the hold taken at check in to
remain on the account unavailable for use for up to 7 business
days.
Cash: Full payment in cash is required at
check in for cash paying guests. The amount includes each guests night
stay and a $50.00 incidental deposit for each guest room night.
Credit Card: A credit card authorizes each
night of guest stay and $50.00 incidentals for each night. There is no
additional hold and credit cards are charged at check out.

The hotel is pleased to offer you the choice of wireless Internet access provided by T-Mobile or hard-wired Internet access in your guest room. Hard- wired Internet access in your guest room is provided complimentary for attendees of BayCon 2009.
T-Mobile HotSpot
Wireless Internet service is available at a fee of $9.99 per day and can
be billed back to your guest room. Please login using the name as it
appears on your hotel reservation. Ensure that your wireless card on
your laptop computer is enabled and that your profile on your computer
is set at default to receive T-Mobile as an option for wireless service.
If you need assistance in troubleshooting the wireless Internet option,
you may reach a T-Mobile specialist toll free at
1-877-822-7768.
Hard-wired Internet access is available complimentary if you made your reservation as part of the BayCon Group Block. You may select from either option listed as Business or Economy Service. Please select the option to bill back the Internet charges to your guest room. The charges will be adjusted off your account by the Front Desk. Please use the following Internet Access Instructions:
1.) Make sure your computer is off. Insert the provided category 5 cable into your computers network interface card located in the nightstand top drawer in your guest room. Turn on your computer
2.) Launch your web browser. You will be redirected to the Disclaimer of Liabilities page, “Accept”.
3.) From the drop down menu select the payment option. Please note these charges will automatically be adjusted from the room bill prior to departure.
4.) You may now “Surf the Internet”
5.) For VPN access, please contact the Internet support number listed below and request them to assign you a Static IP address. This will allow you to reach your VPN.

Housekeeping service is available from 10:00am to 6:30pm daily during your event. If you wish not to have your room cleaned for the day, please contact our guest services staff at extension “0”. We will ensure that your room is removed from our list of rooms to service. We would be happy to provide additional towels and amenities upon request.

The hotel has an emergency response team on duty and we will coordinate our efforts with BayCon's Flare team in the unlikely event of an emergency. If you have special needs, please identify yourself to our Manager on Duty. We will use any special information shared such as cell phone numbers to assist us in identifying your location should an emergency arise that may require a hotel evacuation.
2009 Baycon Convention Guests staying Monday, May 25, 2009 are entitled to purchase Great America Park tickets at a discounted price of $25 each (maximum of 2 tickets at this price). Additional tickets (beyond the first 2 tickets) are $32 each. Regular ticket price at the gate is $45. Enjoy an extra night at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara at the Group Rate and have some fun for Memorial Day!
